These are low-cost, high quality, serial data acquisition and control interfaces that allow data acquisition and control via a serial port ( RS232, RS422, RS485 ). When connected to a serial port the ADR boards allow control of analog and digital I/O using simple ASCII commands. Easy to interface to LED's, switches, potentiometers, analog sensors or stepper motors. Programming is easy using Visual Basic, Basic, C, Visual C or any language that allows access to a serial port. Compatible with all graphical instrumentation software including TestPoint and LabVIEW (See Programming Examples for information). Telephone or radio modems may be used with the interfaces to permit remote Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition ( SCADA ). Thousands of systems are in use by educators, integrators, OEM's, and in various industries.
The ADR series of interfaces are shipped complete with serial cable and rubber mounting feet for bench top use. Mounting holes are provided for mounting in enclosures or on panels.
