Lasers
Industrial Fiber Optics manufactuers both diode
and helium neon lasers. All diode lasers produce laser radiation of 635 nm
and the helium neon lasers radiation is 632.8 nm although other
wavelengths can be custom made. There are six models to choose from in
both the diode and helium neon products. Variations in models are either
optical power levels or modulation bandwidth. With twelve different laser
models to choose from our laser line is the most comprehensive in the
industry.
In addition, they are packaged in our traditional
brilliant, transparent, impact-resistant blue laser housings which add
exceptional educational appeal to all users. All lasers incorporate the
trademark of solid dependability associated with Industrial Fiber Optics.
Specifications for all lasers are listed below.
Laser Selection
Attempting to compare all the makes and models of lasers in
today's busy market can be confusing. To help you make your best informed
choice we have prepared the table below. It lists laser education
applications and the best laser choice for a particular use. The top row
lists all of our major laser product categories. In general, helium neon
lasers are the preferred choice if you require long coherence length and
wavelength stability for optical interformetric experiments. Diode lasers
are the best choice for communications experiments.
