Description
This PCB Etching Tank System is easy to use and easy to assembly. Etching can occur in 4 minutes. The tank features graduated markings to assist in setting appropriate etchant depth. Normal usage requires a minimum of 2000cc (2 litre) to a maximum of 2300cc's (2.3 litre) of etching solution Also included are some handy wire clips used to hang your PCB(s) in the tank. This feature makes it easy to lift the board out for easy quick check of the boards progress.Or, since the tank is translucent, board progress can be viewed by shining a light into the tank during the etching process. Special care should be taken when using etching chemicals (ferric chloride). Especially, take precautions to use protective eyewear & also protective gloves should be used. Ingestion of ferric chloride can be fatal. Also, it is highly corrosive to metal.
