Last Friday, Circuit Specialists had the honor of attending the ASU Innovation Showcase
From the official site:
“The ASU Innovation Showcase is a massive exhibit of student-produced projects, demonstrating how ASU students solve real-world problems with innovative and imaginative solutions. Collaborating with industry partners both in the greater metropolitan area and the world over, students work on creating solutions to meet tangible industry and societal needs. Innovation Showcase enables creators to produce, refine and develop new inventions, new methodologies, new creations and new ideas.”
This year’s team members; Jason Griffo, Tien Nguyen, Sebastian De Los Rios, and Victor Wise, along side faculty member John Robertson constructed a functional home automation system which was powered by a Banana Pi M2.
This project allowed the user of the home automation system to control their Lighting, HVAC, Motion Detectors, and Security Cameras all from a central hub.
This successful project marks an excellent leap forward for the advancement of home automation and IoT (Internet of Things) development.
We are proud to have the opportunity to sponsor such innovation!
